Annual and Monthly Payments Available!

AANP membership dues are used to drive all of the work of the association, including our federal legislative work, state licensing efforts and our national public relations campaign to educate consumers about naturopathic medicine. Click here to view our membership benefits.

AANP Terms of Membership

Your Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians!
The following Terms of Membership (TOM) are between you and the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians and constitute a legal agreement that governs your agreement to pay all fees and charges associated with 12 months of membership and to provide all documentation necessary to complete the application process. You are agreeing to these terms when you apply for an annual or a monthly membership. You should print or save a copy of these TOM for your records.

Updates
The AANP may update or change these TOM from time to time and recommends that you review the TOM on a regular basis. You can review the most current version of the TOM at any time at http://www.naturopathic.org/TOM. If the AANP makes a change to the TOM, it will post the revised TOM on our website at the link noted. You understand and agree that your continued use of your membership after the TOM has changed constitutes your acceptance of the TOM as revised.

Joining Requirements
Regular, Leader and Graduate Members - In order to qualify, you must provide the AANP with a copy of your state license.
Associate Members - In order to qualify, you must provide the AANP with a copy of your credentials in your respective field.
Student Members - In order to qualify, you must provide the AANP with a copy of your Student ID or proof of your enrollment in an accredited naturopathic medical school.
International Members - In order to qualify for membership as a naturopathic physician, you must provide the AANP with copy of your license.
Supporting Members - In order to qualify, you must provide the AANP with proof of endorsement from a licensed ND who is an AANP member.
Faculty Members - In order to qualify, you must provide the AANP with a copy of your current license and proof of employment at an accredited naturopathic medical school.
Retired and Inactive Members In order to qualify, you must provide the AANP with a copy of your diploma from an accredited naturopathic medical school.

Payment
Payment Method
You agree to pay all fees associated with 12 months of membership. There are two options available for your convenience: annual and monthly.

Annual Fees Option
You agree to pay all fees and charges associated with 12 months of membership up front in one lump sum payment.

Monthly Fees Option
You agree to pay all fees and charges associated with 12 months of membership. If you elect the Monthly Fees Option, your membership will be automatically renewed at the end of 12 months. You will be alerted by mail 30 days before your membership is set to renew. At this time you can let your membership renew, change your membership type, choose to become an annual dues payer or elect to cancel. In the event that you do not pay for one month or more, you are required to pay the past due amount before your account can be reactivated. If you fail to complete 12 months of payments, you will no longer be eligible to select the Monthly Fees Option. Once you have paid all your past due payments, you will be able to renew with the Annual Fees Option.
