Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this meeting, attendees should be able to:
1. Identify ways in which to integrate Naturopathic medicine techniques into their own practice.
2. Evaluate the most recent research on practices and modalities in natural medicine and healing.
3. Describe specific techniques that are working in clinical settings to help patients heal from a variety of
illnesses, with a goal towards improving overall patient care.
4. Devise more efficient ways to run their practice, which will help physicians in their endeavor to work
more effectively and professionally.
Target Audience The target audience is physicians who practice holistic, naturopathic, integrative, alternative & natural medicine. The majority of physicians have clinical responsibilities within their specialties.
Educational Format The sessions at this conference are a combination of didactic, question/answer (discussion and hands-on learning. A wide variety of lectures will cover topics from naturopathic research, clinical technique, oncology, environmental medicine and practice management. The clinical practice sessions are largely discussion based with a large portion of the time being question/answer.Specific cases from clinical practice will be presented and discussed among the group of attendees. Hands on learning will be presented in a few physical medicine sessions.
