The Speaker Selection Committee is looking for proposals on a variety of topics:
Primary Care (CV, GI, GU, Endocrine, Treatment Updates, Lab Updates, Psych, etc.)
The conference will host several types of presentations including oral presentations (lengths will vary), research presentations and research poster presentations. Offerings must be clinically relevant and provide attendees with information that can be applied immediately. The committee is especially interested in topics that speak to the theme of the conference: Naturopathic Primary Care: The Future Is Now!
Proposals submitted by Jan 15th 2014, will be reviewed by AANP’s multispecialty Speaker Selection Committee, which will make selections based on content, objectives, relevance, significance, originality, clarity, and speaker experience. INCOMPLETE SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE REVIEWED. All persons who submit proposals will receive notification of the committee’s decision no later than Feb 15, 2014.
If your proposal is chosen for the conference, an agreement will be signed and the deadline for submission of final content is May 15, 2014. All presenters are REQUIRED to submit PowerPoint slides and any other conference materials for review by this date. By submitting a proposal, you are agreeing to this deadline. The AANP reserves the right to withdraw any offer to a presenter who fails to meet this deadline.
All proposals and final content will be reviewed by the full Speaker Selection Committee. The Committee reserves the right to reformat proposals to ensure publication uniformity. The Committee also reserves the right to suggest edits, co-presenters and to combine submissions.
Selected concurrent speakers will receive $300 plus full conference registration. Oral research presenters (20 minute presentations) will receive $100 in addition to one day conference registration.
